Testers responses when asked if they would sew the Cool Skirt again:
Of course, I love the skirt and will sew it for the winter time in wool fabric. The style of the skirt is modern, and different to others and normally I don’t like skirts, but this one is so great
Bettina
Absolutely! I thought it was a very unique and interesting design. I will probably do make it with a lighter fabric and play with the length. I think the video tutorial in combination with the photo instructions were amazing. For some steps I was just following the instructions whereas for others I went to the video tutorial to see the transition or how you position or did something. I also watched first the whole video to get an overview of the process. It was really great to be able to have both. You did such a good job, thank you!
Ada
The video tutorial followed your photo instructions exactly. I went back and forth between the two. I found that the video tutorial really reinforced the photo instructions. All of your instructions are very clear and easy to follow.
Yes, the project looks complex but it sews up much more quickly than I expected. This is a great versatile skirt with interesting and unique details. I know I will wear this skirt a lot. The topstitching looks white in the photos but it is actually khaki.
Deborah
Yes, most definitely!! Its perfection on the insides, its a very well fitting garment, and its fun to sew!
Anastasia
Yess! This pattern is very versatile and can styled easily. I found the instructions to be easy to understand, which would make a great project for adventurous sewists!
Jackie Lynn
I would absolutely sew this again. The design is unique and the fit is so good. I already want to make a fall/winter version.
Michelle
Yes, absolutely. The construction and design of the pattern is so thoughtful and unique. I truly admire your creativity with the design of your patterns. I have almost every pattern you've made and have made multiple.
Brenna
Yes, I would! The fit and style is very nice and would be great for different seasons depending on what material is used.
Dru
Definitely, it is such a great pattern!! I have never been one for contrasting topstitching, but I’m so glad I went with the cream thread on black fabric because it elevates the skirt!
